Adding 'PATH=/usr/local/sbin:/usr/bin:/bin' to the beginning of your crontab/job near the top should help.

I ran dirvish-daily using at (which should be functionally equivalent to running it during cron), with the changes I made to dirvish-runall, and it seemed to work. I've attached the patch I generated; it applies to dirvish 1.2.1. I'll have to see tomorrow whether the dirvish-daily cronjob runs successfully.
