Hello, sorry for my first html email! I want to back up files of a Windows 2000 client via SMB from a Linux Server (Suse 10.1).
Windows Client named client, IP 192.168.0.129 Linux Server named linuxserver, IP 192.168.0.134 Exported folder AGFEO for user tc2backup At first I tried 1. linuxserver:/ # smbmount //client/AGFEO /mnt -o username=tc2backup,password=xxxx linuxserver:/ # 2. linuxserver:/var/baks # /usr/local/sbin/dirvish -vault client -init Password: linuxserver:/var/baks # 3. linuxserver:/var/baks # /usr/local/sbin/dirvish-runall 14:55:28 /usr/local/sbin/dirvish --vault client Password: 14:55:32 done linuxserver:/var/baks # The problem is that I have to type the password in manually. How can this run automatically? Thank you Bastian _______________________________________________ Dirvish mailing list [email protected] http://www.dirvish.org/mailman/listinfo/dirvish
