Hello Eric, i should have read the mailing list completely ;-) Possibly there should be a detailed discussing: fork/wait vs. perl threads. I thought about fork/wait first, because these are "built-in" functions for the dirvish-platforms. For portability we should use perl threads but i think there are bigger construction sites (hardlinks).
