Hi Guys, I've been looking for solutions to an issue I encountered when building ddc w/ Windows, that is; TinyPTC is unsupported for Windows (and from what I see, also abandoned).
The creator of TinyPTC started a new, more modern project called PixelToaster (here: https://code.google.com/p/pixeltoaster/) which seems to do the same kind of thing. This has DirectX support on Windows, support for X11 on Unix, looks fairly lightweight and was last updated in 2012, so it's still being looked after. Thoughts? A swap shouldn't be too hard and I'd be happy to assign myself to it if people think it's a good idea. Another alternative is that we roll our own lightweight library from scratch (and that's something I'd be happy to have a go at too).
