Hi all, In order to support the continued growth and use of the Wikidata Query Service, Discovery <https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Discovery> and Technical Operations <https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Wikimedia_Technical_Operations> are upgrading the hardware of the service.
We're adding a single extra server to both our Virginia (eqiad <https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Eqiad_cluster>) and Dallas (codfw <https://wikitech.wikimedia.org/wiki/Codfw_cluster>) data centres. These servers will be dedicated to the Wikidata Query Service. We're expecting this upgrade to take a few months, and we'll keep you updated as things progress.
