Hi Mick, Thanks for reporting this "erratic" behavior, I found out that it's a known issue. Please see https://phabricator.wikimedia.org/T71382, it has been prioritized as "Lowest" but feel free to weigh in (by posting a comment to the phabricator ticket) if you feel this bug deserves more attention.
