Wikimedia really needs proper calendar handling, optimally with ICS or similar to which we can subscribe, such that you and other organizers can change the calendar details as occasionally necessary, to cancel or reschedule or otherwise, and interested parties can set our calendars to automatically alert in advance and/or at the time of the event -- and have our calendars automagically do the right thing about rescheduled and/or cancelled events.
