I could get useful information from the past discussion about "How does OVS buffer the packet inside packet-in message" ( http://openvswitch.org/pipermail/discuss/2013-October/011580.html)
In my short understanding, I think that successive packets of any single flow that has a matching flow entry are also buffered temporarily like a forwarding pipeline queue in a physical switch. So if my guess is right, I hope to find some implementation source codes or references in OVS. Thank you for reading. ᐧ
