When quoting text from another message, please add an attribution above the first quote. E.g.,

When replying to a message, please trim the original message to the minimum amount to make sense of your reply. If at all possible, please don't append whole messages to yours, and certainly not chains of earlier messages. When replies are displayed *before* the text they're replying to, it makes it harder for messages to be understood.
