after loading the .jar file, I receive an error message:
can't find main task and then the procedure abort/
how to fix it?
There are many ways to deal with this problem. See

From a command line, type:
java -jar electric-8.03.jar
or:
java -classpath electric-8.03.jar com.sun.electric.Launcher
You can also try adding "." to your CLASSPATH variable.
