CVS gr-wxgui now contains versions of fftsink and scopesink that are a bit faster than they used to be.
Still lots of opportunities for speed ups, but this was about 10 lines of python ;-) scopesink runs in about 50% of the old time. fftsink runs in about 80% of the old time.
