When looking for FPGA's I stubled upon the following.
They are programmable analog ICS which can do analog mux, programmable gain 
(pos and neg gain), programmable filtering, multiplying DAC and such.
(All programmable within a microsecond)

Unfortunately the max programmable bandwidth is only 1.5 MHz, but this could 
still be enough for some applications.
Could be a nice addon for a basicRX or a LFrx.
