Bill Tracey (kd5tfd for all you hams) wins a beer and pizza for being the first to use the WX APT (weather satellite) software in the demo directory and to report success to me.

(wx_apt_recv.py)

Bill is working on a feedline, preamp issue which makes this picture just a little noisy but it is clear the demodulator works. I was using his movement towards getting this going as a goad to myself. My quadrafilar helix will be finished and up in April. My preamp and feed line are already in place.

Bill and I both use or will use WxtoImg ( http://www.wxtoimg.com/ ). The political boundaries on the image received using the usrp and tuner may be viewed at the link below were put on the image by using wxtoimg and its knowing the correct time and the orbital elements, etc.

Laziness is the number one inspiration for ingenuity. Guilty as charged!
