Updating gnuradio-core, usrp and gr-usrp will change the error that
you are seeing.

The software believes that you have a Flex 2400 board on the A side.
The only way this could be true is:
(1) You *do* have a Flex 2400 board on the A side.
[With the USB connector at the top, the "A side" is on the left]
or
(2) Somebody burned the EEPROM on the Basic Rx board that you say
you have, and set it to the value associated with the Flex 2400.
What are the dimensions (sizes) of the daughterboards that you have
installed?
What text is printed on the daugherboard(s) near the edges?
