Hi, I have a USRP with 2 DBSRX daughterboard so i can capture the downlink signal (GSM) and the uplink (i'm not sure of this). Someone here knows if the RACH channel is transmitted in the UPLINK part of the broadcast channel (BCH), this is 45 mhz below the downlink channel (GSM900), corresponding to the same ARFCN channel.
