Hi
All these days i thought both are the same! But they are not. Does any one
have any idea what is the difference between both of them?
Thanks

A symbol is a complex signal representing 1 or more bits (generally). A
symbol is represented by a number of samples, which can be 1 or more
samples per symbol. If you're symbol represents 1 bit (like in BPSK),
you have 1 bit per symbol, but you might have more samples per symbol to
represent that symbol.
