G'day William, FYI: About a week ago, I was facing the same situation and decided to purchase a Dell Studio XPS 1645 laptop. The major factors for my decision were
1.) Onsite warranty repair 2.) Better screen resolution 1080p (1920x1080) 3.) Free inclusion of a blue-ray player (special) 4.) Being a happy Dell user for the past 10 years 5.) Price was AUS$1887.20, including a 10% membership discount Spec: I7-720QM, 6Gb RAM, 1Gb ATI HD 4670, Blue-Ray, Win7 Pro I've justed visited Dell USA and noticed their prices are substantially higher for some reason. I waited until a favorable configuration was on offer, in this case the inclusion of a blue-ray player. cheerio Berndt On 26/04/10 William Pretty Security Inc wrote: Hi All; Found this little baby on Tiger Direct: http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=57 05306 <http://www.tigerdirect.ca/applications/SearchTools/item-details.asp?EdpNo=5 705306&CatId=4938> &CatId=4938 Hp Pavilion Intel i7-720QM processor, 6GB of DDR3 RAM What do you think ??
