I had the same problem. But after runnin it and setting the
PYTHONPATH, everything was fine.

Right. I actually used individual functions of your script to cleanup
my install. I was testing the cmake build, though and I don't think
that is integrated into build-gnuradio yet. I love your script though!
In the future, I imagine that cmake will make it possible to easily
create deb and other binary packages that will install everything and do
all of the extra steps necessary to get things going (like running
ldconfig).
