Heh, I connected a USRP to a 20KW PA once. Sweating was only one of
several things done in anticipation :)
The ISEE-3 resurrection out of Arecibo used a hefty (500W??) amp for
2.3GHz. The EIRP out of Arecibo for that is pretty eye-watering :)
