________________________________ Hi Marcus, Right, I have resubscribed not using nabble. I installed it originally using pacman and GNU Radio companion is enabled and has been working more or less. It just throws up messages that certain things are missing, that I then install from binary. I have no intention of mixing source and binary installs; indeed that is exactly what I am trying to avoid doing. Was just trying to find out if installing 'swig' would do the job or if I need to do something else.

Generally, the GNU Radio Companion is simply part of the GNU Radio build. It's up to linux distributions how to package that (and whether, for example, have a separate package for the GNU Radio Companion). If you're building GNU Radio from source, you'd just make sure GRC is enabled. If it isn't, that usually only happens when you're lacking some dependencies. If you're instead using a package from your Linux distribution, make sure you install every component you need. If you're mixing source installs and binary packages, please don't do that.
