Found the issue with command line you gave, namely
simple_ra is not the python file so I changed the line to
simple_ra_receiver and changed some of the command parameters as and got
it to run:

I run my Ubuntu system on utc rather than NZtime so this shows that
osmosdr was indeed rebuilt last night (Sunday here) around 6 pm.

Then, simply check the file modification date of that file :)

I built 3.7.11.1 on July 7th on 14.04 LTS and

Soo, checking the usual suspects: did you also recompile gr-osmosdr
after you rebuilt GNU Radio and UHD?

snap and xevilteddy but the commands for 32-bit didn't seem to work
for my 64-bit i7 system.
Any idea(s) about how I can get rid of this message?
