You can get to older versions by checking them out with git.
git checkout v3.7.11
To see all the available tags.
git tag
I'm not sure why you're not seeing the block parameter colors. The
latest version (3.7.12git-218-g811bee8c) is working fine here on Ubuntu
16.04.
