Hi,

If you’re happy with receive-only you could have a look at KerberosSDR:

Subject: Re: [Discuss-gnuradio] Hardware for MIMO & Beamforming Experiment

Hello Evariste:

If 2 channels are sufficient, you can probably get away with USRP B210s (which
is expensive but superior) or LimeSDRs. You can also use a MIMO cable to pair
up two USRP N210s together.

If you need more channels, things get a bit expensive. You will need to
consider USRP N3xx series or hook up multiple SDR transceivers together. The
cheapest way that I can think of is implementing your own master clock
generator and clock divider (A bit riskier than using Ettus's Octoclock,
though).

I would use LimeSDRs or XTRXs for 2x2 MIMO setup if it is a personal project. I
would ask for more budgets (and take Ali Dormiani's approach) if it is a
serious research funded by an organization.

(* Please note that devices like USRP B210 have one shared LO for multiple
channels. That means you cannot physically tune to different frequencies
simultaneously, but you get phase coherence between the channels. The MIMO
Cable + USRP N210 configuration is the other way around.)

제목: [Discuss-gnuradio] Hardware for MIMO & Beamforming Experiment

Hi dear community members!

I want to run experiments using MIMO and/or beamforming techniques with open
source. However, I am getting stuck with hardware. Traditionally, I used USRPs
N210 for experiments. I have only two.

Is there any cheap hardware that can support MIMO & beamforming applications on
the market?

Thanks.
