Hi Sara, albeit being a) pretty awesome and b) archtiecturally based off GNU Radio, gnss-sdr now essentially is a fork with a special purpose, but interesting architectural features (a uniform block factory, for example).
However, I really don't think the GNU Radio mailing list is the right place to ask. Maybe try the mailing list linked to at https://gnss-sdr.org/about/ .
