Hi All, Thank you very much for coming back to me. Michael, I tried both of these methods. No luck.
As pointed out by Johannes it could be that I really have an ancient version of gcc that doesnt have these things. I think I will have to start from scratch. Delete everything, update things and try again. Johannes, yeah I dont know what to make of `Apple LLVM`. :) It could be that my Xcode messed up things. Anyway, I will keep trying.
