Gunesh, if you decide that you do want to contribute to GNU Radio (which we would be happy about), make sure that you first go through most of the GNU Radio tutorials, and make sure that you can build and install GNU Radio from source without requiring external help. These are things that you need to have down before you can start doing actual contributions. Next, start playing with something that interests you personally, like receiving specific waveforms. When you get into the thick of it, you will automatically find things to improve, or you will learn to understand what the issue tracker is talking about.
