The guys on the irc channel may hate me for this, but I found the guys on the irc.freenode.net:#gnustep channel always very helpful. That and the pocket reference worked well for me. I've discovered that there are helpful irc channels, and there are not. I'd rate the #gnustep one as one of the best.
