Ah, yes, sorry. I did not fully understand that post, exspecially as somebody 
responded to it as if it had to do with a focus problem in KDE. (And I did not 
read it over, either, as it seemed to contain no hint what I could do.) Many 
thanks for your help. Can I send my code to You for review (commit?)?

OT: Is there an autostart functionality in GWorkspace (i.e. to launch AClock at 
startup)?
