Not to dis-honour yours an Gürkan's work, but as GNUstep is mainly a development framework, this would include compiling a sample project or two. This pretty much requires a working hard disk. As far as I understand matters, the Morphix-based CD allowed a network-less installation already. All the required binaries to get started are on the CD, after all.

The only other option would be to use the Slackware w/ the packages on the
FTP or build everything from source, which is a bit rough.

So I'm back to installing my favourite OSS distro :-)
