If you install gnustep via Debian, and you want to start an
application, you don't need to do anything, just
openapp MyApp.app
If you want to develop/compile other applications/libraries, you
would need to source GNUstep.sh
FYI, there's no official GNUstep desktop, but you can start with the
GNUstep workspace/finder: GWorkspace.app
openapp GWorkspace.app
and also check out the apps at Etoile: http://www.etoile-project.org

Hi,
I always follow this guide when building from source:

Just make sure you have the most upto date code from the server.
I think gnustep is available in the apt-get programme of Debian
systems, but I have never bothered to use it that way; all ways
want to be at the bleeding edge! If you have 'apt-got' then may be
you just need to get source the GNUstep.sh script in your .bashrc?
