Barry, On LapisPuzzle, the menu items are, in total New Game, Info Panel, Help Hide and Quit. As far as I can tell all of them work fine. :)
Both LapisPuzzle and Ladder were perfectly playable in the past. I believe LapisPuzzle has an issue since some of the events in GNUstep have changed, so it's probably an issue with simply updating it to use the right ones. As far as Ladder.app goes, it is an implementation of the game Go. Although when I compiled it recently, it doesn't seem to work properly. So, they were certainly "finished" but they've undergone some "bit-rot" due to changes in the frameworks. Almost all of the menu options don't do anything. I can probably get them in the games team if they are fixed but are they worth it?
