OpenGroupware.org and SOGO contain classes for writing iCalendar
files compatible with iCal. I believe they also include a CalDav
server implementation, which should make syncing with the iPhone
trivial (just point it at the CalDav server URL).

Hi all,
I want to migrate data from a GNUstep application to iCal. This is
not for using iCal (appointments are managed in a database based
GNUstep application), but just for establishing an easy path for
populating the appointments from the database application to the
iPhone. Any ideas?
I am almost sure somebody has already a written a class that writes
data files that can be imported by iCal. Or does anyone even know a
better approach to import contacts and appoinments into the iPhone?
I know that the straight way to do this will probably be to write a
iPhone application that directly connects to the database
application via TCP, but this is out of scope right now. I need a
quick hack for the moment.
Thanks,
Andreas
