In both gdb logs I see views with a width of zero. It is quite possible that the new frame and bounds setting code I put into gui a few days ago has some open issues with such values. But the line given in your first log file is highly unlikely to be the one causing the problem. How could a simple assignment trigger a segmentation fault? I think Greg is correct and you should first try to recompile everything from scratch. And if the problem persists we will investigate further.
