Can you be a bit more specific? Using the Cairo back end, windows
that set an alpha channel will be translucent when they are run with a
compositing manager, but windows should not be transparent by
default. What applications are you running, and are you running any
user appkit bundles?

Hello, I'm having problems with the GNUstep applications after
installing xcompmgr.
All of them are transparent when xcompmgr is running.
Any ideas?
