Nakadasan,
Thank you for your interest in the project.
are you trying to install GNUstep for windows or are you trying to
install the "GNU" environment under windows? A "mininmalist" gnu for
windows is mingw, which is a separate project from GNUstep.
GNUstep port for windows is based on mingw though and it will install a
working mingw environment.
Everything is well explained here:
http://www.gnustep.org/experience/Windows.html
You need "system" which contains all the dependencies, mingw itself and
the compiler.
Then you install the "core" which contains the gnustep core. At that
point you have a complete environment.
You can start up the shell and compile&install any GNUstep application
from source as you would on Unix, typically with just "make && make
install" and then "openapp <appname>".
I hope this helped, else narrow down your problems. (Eg. what did you
install? what did you launch?)

To whom may concern
I have question about downloading gnu for window xp
I went to this web page to get the file for gnp
ftp://ftp.gnu.org/
But, when I try to download, the message below poped up.
The instruction at "0x0441c88c", The memory could not be "written",
Click on Ok to terminate the program
Click on CANCEL to debug the program"
How can I install the program?
Do I need to change the OS from Windows to Linux?
Thank you
Yuichiro
