fwiw menu separators are something else entirely different, they are currently implemented as menu items in GNUstep and look pretty ugly imho, nobody afaik currently uses them except when they convert or use a mac os x menu within a nib file. you get something like |menu item 1| |------------------| |menu item 2| lets not confuse menu item borders from menu separators. hard to say without looking at it but menu separators would almost undoubtedly look better with Germán's style of menus without the menu item border, maybe the same mechanism used to control the border drawing of menu items could be extended to in the case of a menu separator stroke the bottom of 'menu item 1' or top of 'menu item 2', not sure if that would take menu separators from 'too much empty space' to not enough though. suppose someone would have to try it out and see. though, i see there has been some discussion of menu separators since last i looked at them, maybe this is taken care of. _______________________________________________ Discuss-gnustep mailing list [email protected] http://lists.gnu.org/mailman/listinfo/discuss-gnustep
