I can send it to you, if you want, Fred. I am not comfortable committing it since it doesn't work fully. It currently draws the buttons, but they get overwritten when GS repaints the background of the window.
I'm currently thinking about going the caching route, i.e. caching a pixmap of the button and various widgets, and using the cached map to provide an image for theming that way, but I haven't had the time lately to do that. I can send it to you, or anyone else, who would like to take a look at what's been done so far.
