I short follow-up to my other post. I just did a diff of the back
configure output on both machines.
Source:

checking for glXMakeContextCurrent in -lGL... yes
Target:
=======================
checking for glXMakeContextCurrent in -lGL... no
configure: Warning : no OpenGL support for X11 backend
I am not aware of having installed any GL related packages on any of
the two Solaris 10 machines!? Any idea?
