The upgrade crashed, so I deleted the old version and tried to do
clean install. No luck. I'm attaching the compile statements/errors
and my computer ENVIRONMENT variables from the set command. I turned
off the GNUstep.sh shell script when I tried to do the reinstall, but
normally I have it in the .profile script. Please see attached.
To be able to run successfully on FreeBSD9 your luck depends on the
compiler and libobjc library.
Sadly, obj-c support from the core gcc was removed (it was more than
enough to compile gnsutep - I do that on freebsd 8.x)
If you intent do compile with clang, get clang 3.1 from ports, the
standard system one has to too many bugs. Once done that, I advise you
to use SVN version of libobjc2, since it contained bug fixes I
specifically found in my FreeBSD9/clang3.1/libobjc2 setup. David fixed
them, but it is unreleased yet. With that setup I have a quite good
GNUstep environment.
