I have no more clues, however since in the previous logs you showed:
2013-02-15 09:42:22.507 make_services[1800] couldn't create
/root/GNUstep/Library/Services
I fear there is something more wrong than just GWorkspace.
Is this a regression problem? That is, did previous versions of
GWorkspace work? I fear there could be a base problem here (also because
all the daemons are only base), but Richard is going on vacation, so we
need to figure it out ourselves.
Nobody else is reproducing this though, or?
