On PC-BSD 9.1 I just typed portinstall gnustep from a root terminal but you obviously want to do more. Unfortunately, 9.1 STILL does not support ANY of my USB wireless devices and so out it went. Too bad, clearly a superiour distribution, they could have owned the Linux world if only they had developed the drivers ....
