here flickering is bad on certain machines, certain not. I think it
could be related on which acceleration X11 supports, but that's a guess.

On NetBSD/x86/cairo with ATI I can't get a live resize: the window

On all setups I use WindowMaker with live-resize enabled, of course.
I'd say this patch makes things worse except on some systems where
instead it works perfectly.

I tested Grr this morning on Ubuntu/WindowMaker/x86/nvidia graphic card
and also on a debian same software and hardware configuration.
I have no flickering at all, but I see different and discordant behavior
and opinions from other people.
Maybe, we should find another solution to fix this problem, because it
needs to be fixed.
