Hmm...This may be related to a fix to the "Impossible to Alt-drag to create matrices" bug I stumbled across the other day. I just Pressed Alt while dragging, then released it BEFORE depressing the mouse button and it started to work normally. Now, no special key combo is needed while dragging. It's weird how this bug appeared all of a sudden and cleared up so easily.
