I got also a example of vcard 4.0 and added the BDAY field (yyyymmdd)

Interesting. In my case it gets parsed correctly, it displays 09/07/1962
Also work & home address get correctly set.
Only thing is that even if work and home phones are interpreted, they
are both set as work phone! Even if in my test cases all works.
I am also wondering about the way I build the FW:
I just build these two parts:
- Addresses
- AddressView

No, parsing changes were actually just in the Addresses framework.
Another not related issue;
I note also while I try to select a text field in Address view panel,
it closes Addressmanager (segfault)
Where? I imported your Forrest Gump.
Went to Edit. Could select street, city, nation... no issues.
Previous messages in the console are only warnings I guess not related
