Hello,

I was showing GNUMail to my son as we discussed about my desktop tries, and he asked me if we could change the view within the mail app. I proudly said yes, and no sooner said as done, I changed it to have the message list at the left side... And guess what happened? GNUMail showed an infinite loop with error message alerts about bad mailbox setting...

To recover GNUMail working, I needed first to kill it, and then to edit:
 ~/GNUstep/Defaults/org.gnustep.GNUMail.plist

The issue was due to this:

<key>PREFERENCES_MODE</key>
    <integer>1</integer>
    <key>PreferredViewStyle</key>
    <integer>3</integer>

And it was fixed with:

<key>PREFERENCES_MODE</key>
    <integer>1</integer>
    <key>PreferredViewStyle</key>
    <integer>1</integer>

Relieved of GNUMail is back. ;-)

Regards,
Patrick
