As Riccardo worked also to improve the html message filter and as he made recently changes in the Pantomime framework, I thought the svn repo was accurate and the most up to date.
the HTML improvements are all in SVN, no release yet.
I am puzzled. What is the recommended version of the source I should use to build GNUMail: svn or tarball (1.4.0)?
To my memory, the "badge" code was part of release and has not seen updates since then and appears to work for me on Mac & GNUstep. It has many different codepaths to try to support 10.4, 10.5 and later and GNUstep. It needs a relatively recent GNUstep since it delegates to it drawing. (about the time of 1.4.0 release).
Recommended depends on your goal. To test and debug, i always recommend latest. To create a distributed package, release with in case backports.
