Hello,

I am relieved because I finally was able to identify the cause.
My method was to remove elements and to use without each several time.

And the guilty is... well - seems to be - GWorkspace **background**.

Since I stopped to display the background of GWorkspace, I never experimented the issue again. So I used Heritage theme and the default background of wmaker for several weeks, doing all the operations which previously caused the issue, like dragging, changing key window, clicking every where to change focus... and now, incredible stability. No way to trouble my GNUstep system.

Because Agnostep Desktop theme was using GWorkspace background in each flavour, I decided to not publish the announced stable 1.0.0 release of my project, because it could be deceptive. So I am working on a new perspective:

- Creating my desired desktop with apps and tools, following my learning of GNUstep, and using a well known theme as Heritage. - Using and targetting only one flavour: NexT like. Conky flavour will be deprecated and unmaintained. With Gershwin Desktop, people has now a better alternative if they want a Macstyle. - When all will be available and stable, I will add again the theming work as an aesthetic alternative.

Hello,

As Gworkspace again often terminates itself, and as it is the main process in xinit, it causes the Window Manager to reload itself and so on... - I have serious doubts about the way I manage this in '.xsession': I joined the one I use now. It is generated by agnostep installer.

- I also believed firstly it was related to non native GNUstep X applications wrappers, but I experimented that it was also related to GNUstep apps: GNUMail, HelpViewer...

- So I extracted a few recent examples from my '.xsession-errors': you could read it there: https://github.com/pcardona34/agnostep-desktop/issues/14

Help would be appreciated.

Best regards,
Patrick
