It was a little sad that only three of us took part in the meeting. Why is that?

- Is it because the meeting is too often, e.g. monthly? Would you have attended if it were only bi-monthly like some time ago? - Is it because the time of the year, I mean maybe you’re rather outside during summer time, enjoying the nice weather? - Is it because the meeting is to broadly announced now, should I stop posting announcements on reddit? - Is it because the meeting is to long, should we limit it to two or maybe one hour?

Essentially, it is Saturday just before dinner time for us in CEST. So if it is a rainy day, I do attend and you know I did in the past. But if there is nice weather, if there are parents and relatives or "things to do" on Saturday which can't be done during a working week, they get priority. This time, for me, it was even late birthday gathering with the family (will sync to the first weekend after a birthday).

Other days a week may be even more difficult. Generally catching over different timezones is just difficult.

Luckily, we can do some smaller gatherings unofficially more easily.

As a remark, while "sharing meetings" are nice, give the always scarce time, I prefer hacking sessions were actual bugs or features can be looked at. Somehow time passed and twenty years ago it was just easier!
