Without knowing how your billing software works, it's hard to make
specific suggestions, but I would think that the minimum approach
is at least to have a table associating domains with customers.
You will also need to keep track of the various dates involved in
the registration.  The hard part is tying the charges and payments
to your existing system, particularly when renewal time comes around
and you need to receive payment by a certain date, the receipt of
which should trigger the domain renewal.

It depends a bit on your customer base.  If they're all registering
their domains through the web in the first place, you can probably let
them do the renewal the same way.  If some of your customers don't
have or know how to operate a web browser, you will need to have an
alternate method, such as plain old postal billing.

Hopefully OpenSRS will develop their renewal procedures far enough in
advance to give us time to integrate them with our own systems.
