Hello,
On Friday I ordered a .ca name, received the email from OpenSRS with account
and password, followed the *secure* link and did all the clicks through the
Cira website, and on Saturday my information was in the Whois. I thought the
whole procedure was finished?

Now I just received 2 emails dated 10 minutes apart, seemingly from Cira,
but with the reply address of canarie.ca??

The first subject "Application accepted" gives me the same account number
and a different password and I have not yet completed the process? And it
gives the same *insecure* link. Do I have to go through all of this again,
or is it a mistake?

The second "Domain Registered" says the name had been registered and will be
activated within 24 hours. It gives the same account number, then states
that the password has expired and my new one is ***drumroll,
please***....the same as the one they just gave me!!!

Can someone explain all of this? The way I understand it is as
follows -please correct me if I'm wrong b/c I'm obviously going to have to
explain all of this to my customers as well.
- Cira was very late sending out that first letter?
- The domain name is completely registered - does its showing up in the
Whois prove that?
- I should keep this acc't number and password b/c I will use it for future
registrations?
